Meanwhile, the punt, pass, and kick contest was happening.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Before the second half of our game here begins... we're in for a treat! Several of our most athletic young people have come to compete in our punt, pass and kick contest!"

The camera pans to the children, who were warming up before the game begins, Snoopy passes by holding a sign that read "stay in shape!"

"The winner will receive a new bicycle and a free trip to the superbowl for the national finals!"

Sally looks around before she turns to lucy.

"You see Joe over there, lucy?" Sally asked, the two girls gazes landed on Joe agate, who was there in the crowd, just looking around. "I think he's here to watch me win the punting and passing competition!"

"Maybe he's watching ME Sally! I too aspire to win a a bicycle and go to the superbowl." Lucy replied in a slightly smug manner.

"I Explained to him how we were training! And he said I was sure I could win!" Sally said, smiling, lucy just glares at her, annoyed. "I could hardly wait to get out there and show 'em!"

"Let's give each contest a big hand as they come up to the line to see who can pass and kick the ball the farthest!"

The camera particularly focuses on Charlie Brown, who warms up before he takes off his sweater and pants.

"Our first contest is Charles brown!" The Announcer said as Charlie Brown walks over.

Charlie brown picks up the ball, and throws it as far as he could, two kids run over to the ball to check how far it went.

"12 feet and 3 inches!" One of the kids yelled.

The ball gets thrown back to Charlie brown and he caught it, he then kicks it, but suddenly, it fell on top of him! Hitting his head and bouncing behind him.

"Huh? What happened? Did I win?" Charlie brown asked in a confused manner.The two kids run over to the ball.

"-8 feet and 4 inches!" The kid yells, the crowd laughs as Charlie Brown walks away, embarrassed.

"Miss frieda rich!" The Announcer once again calls out, frieda then walks over.

Frieda picks up the ball, takes a deep breath and throws it, frieda looks astonished as the kids run over.

"27 feet, 6 inches!" The kid yelled again.

The ball gets thrown back to frieda, and frieda kicks the ball as far as she could.

"60 feet and 2 inches!" The kid yells again, frieda smiles.

"Watch Floyd, this'll be a snap!" José whispers to Floyd.

"Mr. José peterson!" The Announcer said as José peterson then walks over.

José then throws the ball as hard as he could, José smiles as he does a victory dance.

"28 feet, 4 inches!" The kid yells.

José peterson smiles as the ball gets thrown back to him, José kicks the ball.

"70 feet and 8 inches!" The kids yells again, José peterson does another victory dance.

"Miss patty... swanson?" The Announcer said, sounding a bit puzzled as patty then walks over.

Patty throws the ball.

"24 feet, 3 inches!" The kid yells.

The ball then gets thrown back to patty, patty kicks the now dirt-covered ball.

"45 feet and 2 inches!" The kid yelled.

"Mr. Floyd schoenburg!" The Announcer said, the spotlight lands on Floyd, who hesitantly walks over and picks up the ball.

Floyd throws the ball.

"18 feet, 6 inches!" The kids yells.

"Punt, punt it, floyd!" José peterson calls out.

Floyd tries to kick the ball but stops, he looks at the ball, picturing it crying because of its black eye, begging not to be kicked.

"I can't do it! Whatever did it do to me? I can't do it." Floyd said, frowning in sympathy at the ball.
