Survivor: Edge of Extinction Episode 8 Gifs - Part 4
Aubry / Eric / Reem / Chris / Joe / Lauren / Ron / Wardog
Joe should be on The Amazing Race. He may have a chance to win. He’ll never win on survivor. ☹️
Episode 2 thoughts!
Hello all! I’m back with my thoughts from this week’s episode.
I’m still very confused by the concept of Edge of Extinction. I feel like Reem needs a little more structure; dropping her there for who knows when is torturous. I think she’ll cave — I hope she doesn’t — but I think she will. I don’t think Keith will choose to go there, I think he’s done and exhausted.
I don’t appreciate how the new players are targeting Kelley and Aubry, but not Joe or David. David is a strategic threat as well, and could take people down as easily as Kelley. Joe is “Joey Amazing”, and I’m afraid his tribemates are falling for the magic, and playing afraid Aubry as a result.
The open idol hunts were a spectacle. It’s wild to me how Survivor has evolved in this way; people used to be so secretive about searching for the hidden immunity idols, and just wanted to come off as calm and collected. However, in this day in age, everyone knows that everyone is gonna look, so might as well look together!
Lauren is excelling in this game. She’s such an adorable little superfan, and I love that Kelley was her idol and is now aligned with her. Also: BONUS POINTS for finding the idol and NOT feeling the need to go tell Kelley! So smart. She knows what she’s doing.
I thought Keith was the right vote. He was visibly weak in the challenge, and if they valued potentially winning, that was what they needed to do. He wasn’t going to learn how to swim in 39 days. Better not to try and deal with it. I would, however, like to see a Wendy/Kelley alliance. It’s incredibly unlikely, but they would KILL the game.
