I have seen Macbeth as many things: horror, toxic relationship cautionary tale and excuse for the art department to go off with the design elements, but I have never seen Macbeth as a crystal clear roadmap for removing a tyrant from power, until last night. Joe Dowling gave us a stripped down Macbeth, hurtling breathlessly to it's final image: the tyrant, stripped of rank and life, hanging upside down by his heels...
