I thought I should let you know that FSIN has changed its name to Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations. The FSIN is an organization that represents 74 First Nations in Saskatchewan. It's original name was Federation of Saskatchewan sundial Nations. During the vote 22 were in favour of the name change while four were opposed.

Hi :) I was reading about the NATO exercise happening in Poland in June and I was wondering if Canada will be taking part in it and what role our country will pay if any. Thank you!

I can’t find a definite confirmation, but this is what I’ve found so far:

Poland will look like a war zone June 7-17 as 31,000 ground troops and sailors from 24 NATO and partner countries stage enormous land, sea and air exercises to block a hypothetical Russian incursion from the east.

They mean to insist on a steady rotation of up to 5,000 rapid-reaction troops from the West, including the U.S., U.K., France, and Germany, into Poland and NATO’s small Baltic trio of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Canada too was pressed last week by visiting Polish President Andrzej Duda to join this tripwire force to help deter Russian “adventurism.”

1. the person i like and why i like them(i’m going to keep on with that pronoun because mystery, yah!) they’re incredibly nice, their eyes shine like the dawn under mine, their smile is the most wonderful, most earnest, most stupidly refreshing heavenly body–like a moon to my raging tide, my spiraling thoughts. just the general feel of their body in space whenever they’re around, their self-conscious attempts at speaking spanish, their lovely, ever-truthful attempts to be kind.

4. the best thing that has happened to me this weekit has not been the best of weeks and surely losing my phone probably shouldn’t be taken as a good event but i did like how i handled it. also meeting him.

22. 5 things i want to change- this passive notion that i should always wait for the other to make the first move- the fact that i “fall in love” way too easily, way too rapidly- that so many people around the world still have to deal with sexism (and yes, homophobia,transphobia et al are included in this in my opinion), racism, classism, etc, by the people they love most (fuck strangers, i say). *honestly there are so many things wrong with the world that i’d much rather focus on what i can do instead of what i would want to do, so i’m not going to finish this list*
