I’ve been a fan of The Maine for 10 years now and they are one of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and seeing live. I can’t describe the feeling of being at their concerts. It truly makes you forget about the world around you for over an hour. It’s therapeutic, their lyrics talk to you in a way that not many can. You let go of yourself and immerse in their sound and contagious energy live. And being able to hug them and just say thanks for everything is just the smallest gesture I can do, because there’s so much more I wanna tell and show them and I just don’t know how. I feel like The Maine has done more to and for me than a lot of people in my life. They really are an anchor to me.
And I’m so grateful that they love us back in the same way we admire them. Every time they come to Brazil, they make sure they let us know how important we are to them and that’s the best feeling, as a fan, to know that an artist really cares about their fan base. That’s why they moved heaven and hell to make sure they would come down here this year. It almost didn’t happen, but they made it, and they brought along other artists I had discovered through them, and that I didn’t know I’d see again (The Technicolors and Nick Santino) or that I’d ever get the chance to meet or see live (Joel from This Century). And because of them, I did, and I had the time of my life for three days in a row.
I can’t thank this band enough for being who they are and for bringing so much joy and positivity to my life.
The Maine is not only a band, it’s a family.
8123 means everything to me.
You are OKAY 🖤
