Basically, find an exercise you love to do :) I loved yoga, so I devoted 30 minutes everyday to break into it, you build up core strength and flexibility, and it makes you sweat. Then from there, I went to Pilates and done those every other day, with Yoga on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Pilates on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I can finally do 90 bicycle crunches…
Now, if you want to burn fat, you will need some cardio, like running, jump rope, Iam actually training for a 5K. I would recommend if you are starting out, to do p90xs Cardio X, its basic, but it makes you sweat like crazy and there is some yoga in the warm up.
Also, if you like dancing, and want to get into zumba… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6sRk8PBTzU Heres a link for a workout I do all the time. Its amazing and I absolutely love it.
Now for the diet, I follow. Bahahaha I actually kept to what i was eating before, I just cut portion sizes. Instead of a big bowl of ice cream, get a small container. If you eat things in smaller containers, or on smaller plates, you trick your mind and think you are eating more.
DO not restrict food, please, it makes you want it more, and when you finally get it, you will binge, believe me. I set aside one day a week to feed my cravings and I still lost weight.
AND MAKE SURE YOU GET ENOUGH CALORIES! I cannot stress this enough, I swear to god. If something has 300 calories, you can eat it, they are little balls of energy you need to power through workouts. Just make sure they are healthy calories, not like 845 calories from a BigMac… which in my opinion is fucking ridiculous.
Keep up with protein, make sure you are getting enough of it. It helps with muscle growth, and keeps you full.
DRINK GREEN TEA. ATLEAST 5 CUPS A DAY! This will help so much, by keeping you hydrated and boosting your metabolism.
Believe me, it takes a while to stick to it, but once you start seeing the results, it’ll make everything so much more worth it in the end.
I dropped 4 pants sizes, none of my pants fit, even a pair I wore in 8th grade, dont fit without a belt. My shirts are loose. Stay away from the scale. You gain weight, when you work out because your muscles absorb alot of the water from your body and hence, weigh more. If you want, weigh yourself every morning, your body is cleaned out because it had all night to fully break down all your food from the previous day.
I wish you all the best of luck and I mean this, if you need to ask more questions, or anything like that, feel free to message me :) I will help you anyway that I can!
