I'm also having a lot of fun with Dorohedoro! It's a bit confusing since the mangaka just plops you in the middle of this whole mystery but it's also goofy and the characters are incredibly endearing!

No thank you! I’m like a third of the way through atm and I still don’t even know how the Cross Eyes Boss looks like, but if I still don’t get it by the end of the manga then I’ll have to ask again....

yeah that's not a joke, it was side story with a canonically gay woman who got distracted by women in the japanese version. It was taken out for north american and european release for obvious reason
