it was just a simple movie night between joey and chandler; a night they dedicated to staying in and spending time together. separate from their usual group outings. things started to escalate after a particularly heated scene in the movie played… however, things were sort of starting to de-escalate after their conversation turned into more of a debate — one of the side effects of his romantic interest also being his best friend and roommate.

“you REALLY don’t think jaws could take the hulk?? not even a little??” he repeated, eyes trailing from the fingers moving along his torso to the gaze of the male currently straddling his lap. “y’know, if you didn’t look so hot saying that, i might have considered that a dealbreaker.” he teased with a smirk on his lips. he reached a finger up and hooked it under chandler’s chin, gently guiding his head down so he could press a deep kiss to his lips (and to put an end to the jaws slander his ears were being subjected to).

"Mind telling me what you are doing buck ass naked?" From Clay to Joey

Joey was in a tough spot. He made the genius decision of going onto the roof to touch up his tan. And of course, he wore nothing but a towel around his waist because he hated the idea of tan lines. He just wanted a nice, quiet place to sunbathe. And at first, it seemed like he did. But just as he got comfortable on the towel, it occurred to him that he forgot his beer! Annoyed, he got up and lazily rewrapped the fabric around his waist before he went to go back into the stairwell. His only problem was that the door wouldn’t open. He tried everything he could, but it barely budged. He began to panic, he thought he was trapped! However, something caught the corner of his eye, and his saving grace came in the form of a rusted fire escape attached to the building.

Quickly, he rushed onto the metal fixture and went as far down as it went. He didn’t even care that his towel got caught on an edge of the railing, making him completely naked as he traveled down flights of steps. He figured if he got back into his apartment quick enough, no one would see. But unfortunately, the stairs stopped just a couple floors above him. And if that wasn’t enough to deal with, he heard the window behind him start to open. He turned around to face the apartment owner whose floor he was currently situated at. His cheeks turned a deep shade of red, doing his best to cover himself from the attractive male (and hoping his interest didn’t show itself in more ways than one). He looked up towards the roof, then back to Clay as if his eyes were able to tell the tale for him, but he knew it was far too unique of a case. “Well, I was sunbathing on the roof and forgot how crappy the door up there is. And uh, now I’m here. Think you could let me in?”

“—Hey!” Joey’s eyes narrow at Frank for a few moments, unsure how to exactly take the comment at first. However, as the last part sank in there was no hiding the light shade of red that heated up his cheeks. He wanted to be offended, but even he wasn’t able to deny that he had his moments of ditziness. “Be nice.” That was the best he could come up with as a further response, followed by a gentle swat to the man on his arm. “Especially if you want me to show you one of the things I do happen to be an expert at.”
