Subway rides could be long and tedious, but with hot coffee and a good book in her hands, Beau found that she could enjoy the packed train car while she traveled to her destination. Today, however, was a little different. It was fairly early and she was expecting to find a mostly empty car. What she found instead was an old man shouting at the top of his lungs on the opposite end of the train car, clearly having an argument with himself while someone recorded it from heir phone and a group of people all in matching shirts which she could only guess were a flashmob or were heading to some protest. Either way, she moved to the seat where nearby sat the most harmless looking person and decided it was the safest spot. With a smile at the brunette, Beau sat and settled into her seat, already opening her book up when the man started to shout even louder. “ Okay... Guess now isn’t the best time for a read...” She said aloud.
