I do this all the time. I get bored of re-recording over and over again so I just post whatever I have after two or three takes. I actually recorded a few harmonies for this but they were super sucky so I just took them out. Maybez tomarrow. But for sure when I record an actual video the track will have better mixing. My New Year's goal is to produce one solid cover. Gah. Can I do it? So time consuming. Tomorrow I'm going to do a Florence cover. Bahaha that's going to be a terrible fail. Also, I apologize for the horrible first note. Obvi I missed it. And the last verse.. Bahhh, I thought my software stopped recording because my monitor detected feedback and turned off so I wasn't sure whether or not I was still recording that last part. That's no excuse but at that point I was unmotivated because I thought was going to have to record again but I still had to finish to the end just in case the whole thing was actually recording. Bother bother bother.
You should listen to the original track. Lady Gaga was amazing even before she was Lady Gaga. Obvi didn't do this justice. Sorry for not backing up from the mic during the high parts.
