The gameplay, models, and environments the player can create in Dreams are all built out from a set of base tools and interactions that the game engine has already set up. However, the underlying complexity of these tools is masked by their friendly presentation and ease of application, which allows for extremely complex systems and bodies to be built out with minimal build-up, allowing the player to focus on what to build, rather than how to build it.
