Bukowski: Born Into This - Appreciation for One of My Favorite Writers
Rented this from Netflix. Have been a big fan of Bukowski's writings for nearly twenty years, and with his recent death, I've been missing seeing new output from him, so put a few documentaries about him on the queue. This one was fairly interesting, with a good mix of interviews with others, archival footage, and a peek into his home life, wife and friends. Not at all an entirely complimentary work, this one shows the man, warts and all, sometimes rude and abusive, sometimes sweet, sometimes a boring stay at home worker who likes to work on his computer.
Some movies based on his books: Factotum, Barfly, Tales of Ordinary Madness, Crazy Love (which I haven't seen yet)
