A former soldier from the Divyne Republic, and a young one at that. John always wanted to be a hero, to protect others, and to serve his people well, eventually joining the military to help the empire's war effort against Brilety. However by the time he officially became a soldier, the war had ended thanks to the rise of the Safenet Drones. However John would be sent on a plethora of escort missions, either ensuring that a weapons shipment would arrive at specific republic outposts and colonies, or ensuring that an important figure was left unharmed. On one of these missions, he'd end up meeting a fate that he never expected. John would end up being critically injured by what one could only describe as a phantom soaked in blood. Due to how severe his injuries were, he would be taken to a medical tank in order to heal properly, however by the time he exited that tank 300 years have passed, and he awoke in a new world, with new creatures, no humans, and a crimson tower looming over it all. After meeting with a native of this new world, learning of humanity's extinction, and the Demon Emperor who rules over the land, John has set his mind on one thing. Ridding this new world of this monster, and maybe joining his people in the dirt in the process.
