John Ferren (1905-1970) Abstract expressionist in his own right was the artistic consultant for both Vertigo and The trouble with Harry. How very mod of old Hitch. He designed poor Jimmy's nightmare sequence in vertigo as well as the painting of Carlota. And those were all his paintings used for Sam Marlow's in Trouble with Harry.
