John Frawley annoys me more than he does this author, but I recommend this whole critique of him, including his writing:

While continuing to read that thing, I just couldn’t comprehend what it was trying to say. It seemed needlessly meandering to random subjects, lacking coherence but still, peppered with rather glib criticisms of both modern and non-modern astrology.

Of course it does, Frawley has Mercury in Gemini, the Mercury placement I hate most. It’s only great for Electional Astrology.

Traditionally, astrology was ruled by Mercury. Now, we are told it is ruled by Uranus. It is a sad reflection on our present opinion of ourselves that where we once saw ourselves as thinkers, we are now just eccentrics. The application of a little more Mercury to the question of the outer planets is much to be desired.
