This isn’t new, but hearing John Heiss talk about Stravinsky is endlessly captivating.
So I just found out that I'm probably going to be studying flute with John Heiss! I'm actually really pleased with this as of right now. He works at NEC as well so it's like I'm getting the same coaching as an NEC student will be getting. Not only that, but my old flute professor wanted me to play some of his compositions and always spoke highly of him. I think this is all a good sign and I can't wait for our trial lesson. I really hope it works out!
