Join the kick off of our grassroots fundraising effort to
Join MMPCIA on Saturday,
September 15 at 4 PM at the Pelham Fritz Center for a presentation of the Fire Watchtower's history and its significance as a Harlem landmark.
Then stay with us for An Evening of Wine, Cheese, Jazz & A Spectacular View -- atop the Acropolis from 5:30-7:30 PM!
Music will be provided by the world renown Craig Harris Band.
John Krawchuk, Director of Historic Preservation for NYC Dept of Parks, will share details about the various geographic and engineering studies, and financial analyses that support the restoration.
Whether you're interested in preservation, architecture, Harlem history, community involvement or just want to do something different, there will definitely be a place for you in moving this initiative forward.
