I FIXED IT!!! 

Did I say how awesome your Puff!lock is?  With is awesome green eyes and green scales and most impressive wings (they strike me as positively symphonic, and I do not exaggerate).  He crosses his front legs the way my cat Whispey does.  He is perfection. 

And look at young John in his striped shirt, fearlessly nestled against that enormous scaly side, enveloped in a massive leathery wing, twiggy child's leg in thick socks and shoes.  He is lovely.  They make my heart so happy.
