John witnessed his younger brother get held hostage by an outlaw when he was 9 or 10.
He and his brothers were held hostage by outlaws when he was 11.
His best friends almost DIED because of his brother. (Which is probably more traumatic for them but still)
He saw someone die of malnuration (Abie Glassmanl
I think there were more instances where he should've been traumatized but I really should buy a The Great Brain book set.
So anyways J.d might be traumatized.
