Special makeup effects artist John Vulich has reportedly passed away. He just turned 55 on Monday. A cause of death is not known at this time.
Vulich cut his teeth on such films as Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, Day of the Dead, and Ghoulies. He went on to work on The Lost Boys, Night of the Living Dead (1990), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Babylon 5, The X-Files, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, From Beyond, Troll, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, and more.
Vulich occasionally worked in various other departments, racking up a handful of producer, actor, visual effects, and other credits.
