I blame my obsessive personality for this:
Ok, in the (many) promos aired last week, there was one where you see Sara go in to kiss John. I came across the gif I made of it today on my dash, and since we don’t actually see that happen in the episode, I figured the promo makers must have reversed the scene where John and Sara exit the kiss to “create” a clip where she kisses him.
However, I noticed that in my gifs from that scene in the episode, only Sara’s thumb shows, and the promo shows a bit more of her hand. I wondered if was just that the promo people had a larger frame for their video, but I was curious, so I put the frames from the two in photoshop (reversing the frames from the scene in the episode to compare) and noticed that no, it’s actually a different shot! The most noticeable difference is her hand, but the kiss is different, as is the opening of his shirt and their head placements. (see gifs 1 and 2)
I then decided to see if they’d make sense next to each other (if the promo gif is a cut scene fragment where Sara kisses John after their first kiss) and I think it is!
Figured I’d share in case anyone else was interested, lol.
