Lying to support your agenda just makes you look bad

there is a post going around that claims there is a specific Bible verse supporting the “Jesus is trans” narrative. now, i have no issue with claiming Jesus as one of your own people... and there are some (totally not that one) quotes and reasons to say this, ranging from the amusing (well parthenogenesis he must have been born XX) to the valid concept and old myth that the FIRST creation of mankind was a “hermaphrodite” (intersex or both male and female ) and perfect. (only split into the gender binary afterwards) to the idea that in heaven there is no gender binary (or gender) and that Jesus as a perfect being would therefore have been Agender- merely appearing Masc to get people to listen to them:   “In god there is no male and female, no free and slave” ideas that God (and heaven) are beyond the gender binary or pettiness of earthly life... ...

but the lies and claims that John1:17 says something about being born in female clothing or attributes? that just makes you look REALLY bad actual quote of John1:17 is :  “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

simply put:  there are PLENTY of teachings of the new testament, and plenty of teachings through HISTORY,  that say trans folks, like any and all people, should be treated with respect and love. lying about your sources just gives ammunition to the haters.
