. . #JohnAller was born on July 5, 1957 in Cuba. He created quite a career for himself amongst the Broadway community. . I remember meeting John through my good friend Joey Pizzi in or around 1990 when they were both performing on Broadway In CATS and I was in Jerome Robbins Broadway. . John’s Broadway career ran from 1986 through 1995 with shows including RAGS, CHESS, CATS, The MOST HAPPY FELLA and KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN. . Prior to Broadway I was able to uncover,in John’s own handwriting, his biographical résumé through THEATRE WORLD. . His previous credits included national tours of EVITA, The KING AND I, SOUTH PACIFIC and WEST SIDE STORY. He made his Off-Broadway debut in 1985 with PACIFIC OVERTURES then quickly moved to Broadway with RAGS. . The last information I uncovered on John was that he was hired as a replacement for KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN which closed on July 1, 1995. . I'm hoping people who knew John well can fill in the rest and share some of their memories of him and when he passed.” — by Scott Fowler @scottfowler1967 . #whatisrememberedlives #theaidsmemorial #aidsmemorial #neverforget #endaids
