This is my signed #OingoBoingo EP from I.R.S. in 1980. I had the pleasure of meeting.#richardelfman at #amoebarecords for the release of #ForbiddenZone on DVD. He was kind enough to sign it and I asked "How hard would it be to get Danny's signature on it?" He said they were going to see each other in a week or so and said he could try. I handed him the record and we traded emails. A week later he contacted me to meet with his assistant, Lauren, at the gas station at Franklin and Beachwood, in Hollywood. She gave me back the record and told me how it was at a family gathering at their mom's house that Danny had signed it. A few years later at the House of Blues on Sunset after seeing #johnnyvatos 'Oingo Boingo Dance Party' tribute band I got a bunch of the other band members to sign it as well. Obviously, there are some names missing but this is a prized possession as Oingo Boingo is my all time favorite band.
