When John came to visit, they'd spend long hours in bed. Jim would lie on his back, John draped across his chest and snoring light, and he would watch the magician sleep as he traced the scars and tattoos that decorated him. Sometimes he would brush a spot that seemed fresh and he'd murmur in concern, and press soft kisses to John's forehead to soothe him when he'd twist in nightmares. It would only make John wrap himself tighter around his lover and Jim made sure to hold him closer than before

think about constantine offering to teach corrigan how to undo handcuffs without keys. and it turns into a kink session where he keeps cuffing jim and teasing him all over, top to bottom, until poor jim is all sweated up and desperate and still, still, not getting how to undo the cuffs.
