I know trees aren't pink. This is just the first layer. I don't know though, I may try to sneak a pink leaf in there for you. #johnklinetree #campmack https://www.instagram.com/p/B97jZpWgJck/?igshid=u8qhq8lbe8fx

It's time to share the big story of the big tree. I have been commissioned by Camp Mack near Milford Indiana to create a decoration for one of the walls in the John Kline building. This decoration will be a tree that is about 14 feet tall and at the widest about nine feet wide. I have been working for months at developing and refining a process that allows me to make the leaves for this tree out of recycled plastic. If you have been following me on social media you have seen some of this development happen. However, this post is not about the past it is about things to come. Today I took the first step in making the trunk of the tree. I plan to share a new photo every day that I make progress on the trunk and branches even if it is small progress. I invite you to join me on this journey. More importantly share this with anyone you know who is a friend of Camp Mack. Posts will be initiated from Instagram, and not all of them will land on Facebook, but hopefully you will be able to find them with #johnklinetree Thanks for sharing.
