Ever wanted to have a johnlock friend to talk to, but have no idea who to turn to? Ever wanted someone who will cry with you over specific scenes of the show? Ever wished that more people would see your works? I’m trying to combat these with a network.

The Fans of Fans Johnlock Network, for nonfamous blogs who want all the famous blog action.

Nov 11, 2015: MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE  BACK ONLINE!! With Christmas coming up, and a whole bunch of stuff I want to get going for that, it’s high time we inject some new blood (ew?) into the network!

Are you an avid writer or reader of Johnlock fanfiction looking for a community of like-minded people? Do you need a place to vent your writing frustration, find new fic recs, scream about a fic’s latest chapter update, torture friends with angst-ridden headcanons, find a beta-reader, or simply simmer away in Johnlock hell? Then this might be the network for you!

That sounds like I’m selling some miraculous laundry detergent on an infomercial at 4am, so let’s just skip the sales pitch, shall we?

What we’re looking for:

active, friendly bloggers with a passion for reading and/or writing Johnlock

(for writers) any and all experience-levels and genres are welcome, whether you write Johnlock headcanons, poetry, or novel-length AUs.

(for artists) same thing, you’re all welcome!

What you have to do:

have your ask open

send me a message/ask explaining why you want to join the network, and what you feel you would contribute the most (this was where it told you to fill out a survey before, but I think that’s too impersonal)

if accepted, you will need to follow all other members of the group

once accepted, you will also need to display a link to the network page somewhere on the front page of your blog 

once you’re a member, track the tag #johnlockfanfictionnet

What you DO NOT have to do:

have an all-Sherlock blog; multi-fandom is more than okay

have a Sherlock-related url

have a fancy theme

be fandom royalty

If you are accepted, I will contact you to let you know, as well as to get your email address (only to add you as a member; no one else will ever see it, and I won’t store it anywhere), and the details you want in your bio on the network page . You can choose what personal details you want to include, if any, but everyone will need the url to the picture they want to use (take care to credit/like/reblog the artist, if applicable). If you want to include a link to your fanworks, as I’ve done in mine, simply let me know, and I’ll add it in for you. You can even pick the color, if you like!

So, we all know that Sherlock is woefully uneducated when it comes to space, but there are a whole lot of other things he doesn’t know either. In this network, you can make friends and all talk about how badly you want John to teach Sherlock about the stars, and…other things too. (Yes, I’m talking about sex.) Now, I know that there are about a million networks out there already, but who cares!

You should probably definitely ship Johnlock and blog about it a lot. 

What we're looking for in our Astronomers:

A beautiful blog.

You have to be nice. If you send mean messages to people then you can leave right now.

You have to blog about Sherlock. (Don’t worry though, if you blog about other things too that’s ok, just have at least 50% Sherlock.)

It's really cool if you write, draw, paint, make cool graphics, anything like that, but it certainly isn't a requirement. 

If we pick you:

You need to please follow everyone else in the network. This is, more than anything, about making new friends who love Sherlock and John as much as you!

You have to be ok with giving us your email so we can invite you to our exclusive network blog. 

Other stuff: 

We will pick ten members to start with, and then more after that! We don't know how many people will be interested, so these 10 people will be announced no later that May 1st, but probably sooner.

This is both of our first networks, so be nice! We don't know exactly what we're doing. Which will make it more fun!
