On a scale of 1-10, 10 being amazing, how good would you say Vikings is? Would you recommend it? I’ve seen so many gifs from the show and I’ve been looking for something to watch so... thoughts?

I'd say it's around 8-9! I've only seen 2 seasons so far but I think it's really great. It takes like 2 episodes to get into it but the acting is stellar.

I love your poetry ❤️ and I was wondering how you come up with all this work? Poetry is such a personal expression so do you have sort of a muse or is it just spontaneous? And also, how did you come up with the title of your poem “motley crew”? Ahaha sorry for asking so much, I just really love what you’ve going on here :)

I also apologise, in advance, for the wall of text I’m about to type off here lmao.

So poetry is.. how I used to vent my emotions. I’ve always been prone to dealing with things on my own, and poetry provided a quiet and non-destructive outlet for it. 

I’ve also always been one to feel things rather intensely? Kafka was so Relatable™ when he wrote, “I am constantly trying to communicate something incommunicable, to explain something inexplicable, to tell about something I only feel in my bones and which can only be experienced in those bones.”

At some point, I stopped using poetry just for venting, and got serious about it as a craft, and a tool for getting to know myself better. I’m not sure how easy it is to spot when I stopped using it, solely for venting, and started toying with it as an art form. But you can see a shift in tone and style from my archives. All of my cringe is out there. :v

The inspirations are everywhere, though. I draw on my own memories, feelings, dreams, etc. But I also draw on stories and experiences from others! Like this piece is inspired by Indian wordplay, and is actually about my favourite fruit. :x

Motley Crew’s title is really because of this track, by long time fave, Thomston, and that one line, “dysfunctional in every way, we drive all night and sleep all day”. In that particular work, the motley crew is me, myself and I, and the thing I’m running from is, well, me.I know a lot of people might associate the idea with the band, Mötley Crüe. It’s a similar concept, if you stretch? The band is named such because of someone having told them they were a “motley” looking bunch -- I feel that way about myself sometimes; I’m made up of lots of parts. I am also a clown.
