Johnny Bower was known in Toronto purely for being a warm, kind, and generous man. He represented the Leafs with pride and shared himself readily with the community.

My favourite anicdote about Mr.Bower was that his autograph had practically no value because he would give it to anyone and everyone who asked. I’ve even heard that people would knock on his door looking for an autograph and he would invite them inside and sign whatever they had.

Leafs nation has lost an incredible man and he will be sorely missed.
