The TV channel here that is facilitating my Carisi Years Rewatch 2.0 (TM) also airs repeats of Criminal Intent in the timeslot immediately before SVU on Monday nights. Last night's CI repeat happened to be the episode in which Peter guest-starred, so in the space of a few minutes we went from Peter looking like this:

and my brain was like "does not compute". I know SVU Peter was more than a decade older at that point (and Peter is nothing if not the epitome of the phrase "ageing gracefully") but still! I know I've said it before, but he's such a chameleon. And the styling of his hair makes a big difference, too, I think.
