I’ve been in New York for 5 minutes and I’ve already convinced Andy Karl to give me a backstage tour of the Groundhog Day set!

Right so here’s the deal! I arrived in NYC last night and my best mate insisted we take a walk through Time Square. I agreed with the condition that we walked past the August Wilson so I could get a picture of the theatre! We just happened to arrive at the end of the show and there was a crowd at the stage door.

We snooped around across the road because I felt a bit bad joining the crowd because I hadn’t seen the show that night. My best mate thought I was being stupid and coerced me into saying hi. As I worked up the guts to go over, I noticed my friend @jenn32870 was already there! So she hollered Andy over so I could say something!

Needless to say, I’m shocked that he remembers me from all the times I saw Groundhog Day in London. He said that it was weird for him to see me “not in London”! Last year I got him a birthday gift and I’m seeing GHD for my birthday, so the backstage tour is like my gift.
