Johnny Halliday (1962)
Musician Robin Le Mesurier, son of John Le Mesurier and Hattie Jacques, has passed away from cancer, aged 68.
He worked as a session musician, musical director, songwriter and producer, played in the musical incarnation of The Wombles, and in Rod Stewart's band from 1980-87, and had a long association with French rock and roll singer (the 'French Elvis') Johnny Hallyday.
His younger brother, Kim (Jake) Le Mesurier, also a successful musician, died in 1991 aged 34.
