BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (1978) Composed & Conducted by Stu Phillips and performed by The Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. With everyone all Star Wars crazy in 1977, studios wanted to cash in on the next big thing in Science Fiction films. So why not a movie and TV series? Big orchestral themes, Adventure and a little romance became the new norm in these soundtracks (thanks to the baton waving handy work of John Williams) and replaced the "bleakness of space" style of the early 70's. This one is really good and not repetitive for TV series.
