Make sure you don’t buy fake strings! A cheap price is not worth the hassle.

I don’t believe you have to be a string player for this job since it’s mainly phone based..but if you love talking on the phone and have great phone skills then this is an awesome job for you! And while you might not get to see my stunning face all the time, it’s still a pretty rad job.

Johnson's is hiring! 2 part-time positions: I. Store front staff: Johnson String Instrument is seeking string instrumentalists proficient in violin, viola, cello, and/or bass to join our storefront staff in Newton Upper Falls, MA. Job entails assisting customers with sheet music and accessory sales, performing instrument rental transactions, acting as client liaison to the Sales and Repair departments, and basic store upkeep, among other tasks. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Customer service background and strong computer skills preferred. Office staff: Johnson String Instrument is seeking customer service representatives with experience in string instruments to join our office staff. Office staff are responsible for answering phones, screening calls and transferring accordingly, as well as assisting callers with accessory sales, rental transactions, and providing general information about services/products; other miscellaneous office tasks as assigned. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to multi-task. A customer service background and strong computer skills are preferred. The ideal candidate takes initiative and works well in a team. Part-time: 25-28 hours per week, M/W/Th/Fr hours somewhat flexible between 10-6.
