I have some words/johnvember adjustments under the cut

Friends I am struggling with these AUs, I’m not going to lie. I love canon and I love modern AUs (and offshoots like the tattoo artist one, etc). I’m just not as into crossovers and I feel like it’s showing. I feel like a lot of AUs are better suited for fic rather than art as it gets repetitive just drawing the boys in different outfits over and over (and lbr I’m much better at faces/hands/in-love expressions than various clothings)

I have reset the chapter count at 15 and I will do my best to complete the 15 by the end of the month but idk about AUs after that (unless it’s for a fic or fanart of someone’s I read or a redraw of one I’ve already done or something). I feel like I have failed and I am very sorry and somewhat disappointed in myself. Thank you for the support this month as I tried something different, I truly cherish every single comment and tag. I have learned some things I like very much (Segundus in glasses, Childermass with tattoos, etc) that will likely show up again at some point in various arts/fics.

I know that December will be much better, as I will be back to what I do best (and daily) with my sappy Johns in love during Christmas (with a mix of sfw and nsfw because that’s how I roll) AND a whole list of very nsfw childercelles (childercember is HAPPENING assuming I can wrap my head around how to draw Lascelles’s face of course haha)

For November (starting tomorrow), I will be doing a list of AU prompts for our favorite Johns (yes I am continuing!!) 

I will be creatively calling/tagging it: Johnvember

I’ll be posting them here and into an AO3 masterlist again, and tomorrow you’ll note that the chapter count is only 20 for this month because I want to focus a little more on writing and get some of these WIPs out of my head. I may or may not do more than 20, it just depends on how things go :) (I have 30 on my list. So. It’s likely.)

I think I’ll also be doing a weekly roundup of posts every weekend, with all the ones from that week in a little mini master post here on tumblr. I know tumblr’s been weird about notifications lately so if you want to be tagged in the mini-masters let me know!
