John Walter has been very busy in the studio recently working on some of his new prints. These hybrid prints combine several printmaking techniques and incorporate zinc plate lithography, screen printing and mono printing in layers.

Announcing... 21 CENTURIES A street art exhibition of 21 sentinels to stand guard over Liverpool throughout this year's Homotopia. The celebration of queer culture is now in its 12th year, with over 50 events in art, dance, debate, comedy, literature, performance and film. My exhibition nominates one totemic image for each century AD - the year the most influential fictional #queer was allegedly born; the event around which we still structure our understanding of time. The sentries will be pasted up on walls around the city, between 1-2 metres high, from the John Lennon building in the South to St John's university in the North. The festival launches tomorrow, Thursday 29th Oct.
