The braincell meme is like the clearest example of joke inflation. The original joke said “my last two braincells” and we all went “:o but you’re supposed to have millions of those ohoho an idiot indeed” then like a week later entire groups of characters were said to share one braincell and they’d be lucky to have it. This happens every time someone makes a joke, but this had like actual numbers I can point to. The numbers being two, one, and zero, but I never said I was holding the brain cell today.
