The twin obsolescences of the Labor party and Australia.
Labor today is perhaps the most craven center-left party in Western democracy. Even in their most desperate moment, UK Labour under Miliband (a very Shorten-y fellow himself) was not willing to word-for-word match immigration policy with the Tories, even if it came close.
For our boys, Australian concentration camps are a fact beyond discussion. Such cowardice is remarkable, even in a country of politicians who are almost universally low in ambition or cunning.
