I seriously fuck w/ the new northlane album
I mean, it's this perfect blend of electronic music, chaotic instruments, melodic vocals, shredded screaming and genuine (gut-wrenching) lyrics all while being a step in a new direction. it's fresh, it's experimental and they NAILED IT.
many artists should take notes from these guys about how to "switch up" your sound and create something unique without watering it down into something...heartless and manufactured for a demographic.
the whole thing just leaves me thinking, "wow. they really did that." I'm so proud of them.
