Jonah Pastern my beloved from Jackdaw by KJ Charles
Gah, yep, still being feral about many KJ Charles characters.
(Right now: Jonah Pastern. Oh my life.)
(Also enjoying the fact that if you put all of KJ Charles' lead characters in a room together (oh lord, some of them would not enjoy this ;-) ), most of them would not even begin to suspect that Stephen Day is by far the most dangerous of the group. Will has his moments (and then some), Crane obviously has his, I would never want to get between Randolph and his duty (or Saul's safety), and anyone being ableist around Mark has only themself to blame for what follows, but... ahahaha. Yeah. You do not fuck with the small, slight, unassuming-looking redhead and get away with it. You do not.)
Most people have a devil and an angel on their shoulders. I have Jonah and Ben (and Jonah is rather good at keeping Ben quiet).
romance books I’ve read this year: jackdaw by k.j. charles (17/?)
Saint v Pastern, from the end of Flight of Magpies. It’s really hard to give a sense of depth with people in mid-air in a large open space against smooth, bare plaster walls, and I don’t think I quite managed it, but what can you do?

My take on Jonah Pastern. I adore this character so much
My favorite windwalker thief, Jonah Pastern, from Jackdaw by KJ Charles.
