since my last ask was about music, this time I'll ask about books. any you're reading lately and if so, what are they? 👀

Awww yeah I love reading. I literally am always reading, usually for at least an hour a day (usually more.)

Right now I'm reading Alison Weir's novelized biography of Thomas Wolsey. It is so interesting. I also just finished her novelized biography of Katherine Carey - 5 stars.

I had a short interlude for a graphic novel romance called To Dance the Moon and Stars. Most beautiful comic art. 10/10 putting the cover here so you can see how gorgeous it is

Edwin as Mary Bennet. They have a very similar brand of tism rizz. They're both super smart and snarky. They're both outcasts from their societies. You know.

Charles is HARD. Hmmmm. Idk why I'm finding this one rough. Maybe... damn. Charles is too much of an original for me to do this with. Henry Tilney and don't ask me why because I cannot articulate it

Niko as Emma Woodhouse!!!! I feel strongest about this one. She's meddlesome and loves love and romance, and they both are well intentioned but socially unaware (though in different ways.) Emma is my favourite Austen character, so this is a huge compliment.

Crystal as Lizzy Bennet, I think they have a similar brand of snark and are tbh both hilarious people. Theyre clever and often underestimated. They love deeply.

So for the past 2ish weeks I've been hyperfixating on Noel by ATL... such a good song. Cannot believe a 15 year old wrote that. AWG the man that you are. I also feel like I've been listening to Lost In Stereo more than normal lately (the Forever Sessions version, of course.) Idk why but I've been bopping.

Another major development in my life has been that I DISCOVERED TAYLOR ACORN AND MY LIFE HAS BEGUN ANEW. The ones that are hitting me the most are Certified Depressant, Psycho, Goodbye Good Riddance, Home Videos, and Sticking Around. Psycho is very much stuck in my head. Honestly that EP (short album? Idk) is my favourite. She also did a cover of one of my all time fave songs, Jamie All Over by Mayday Parade. I cannot stop playing it.

Maggots for Brains by Olivia Rodrigo also has me in a chokehold. That and Certified Depressant are Relatable Songs 101
