[Just in case you haven't heard this one yet.]
"Raum, Reym (Rey) or Raim is a great earle, he is seene as a crowe, but when he putteth on humane shape, at the commandement of the exorcist, he stealeth woonderfullie out of the kings house, and carrieth it whether he is assigned, he destroieth cities, and hath great despite unto dignities, he knoweth things present, past, and to come, and reconcileth freends and foes, he was of the order of thrones, and governeth thirtie legions. He loves children and will target their souls."
Johann Weyer
Endless clouds of dark despair
Relentless terror in the air
Kittling feathers made of night
You cannot breath; your throat's too tight
You hear the wind become a laugh
You feel the shadows grip your calf
A face appears before your eyes
And screams a thousand dead men's cries
They echo through your every cell
In the distance rings a bell
A tombstone soon will bear your name
Should not have played the midnight game
well, we don't believe the whole black cat thing because we used to have a black cat, but it got chased off by a stray and we havn't seen it since. we never found a 4 leaf clover, so we kinda started doubting that it was real. We do the spilled salt thing, that wards off back luck co I mean I suppose our superstitions are nothing more the housewife tales
[-shrugs- I always found the black cat thing silly, just as much as the whole 13-craze. I always preferred the 13 to other numbers and black cats to other cats, hahah! I actually never heard of the salt thing until I was older, I suspect it’s not common in Europe. Or at least in Switzerland, lol. I don’t remember what I used to do as a child, actually. My mother always told me that electric devices attract thunderstorms if they’re nearby, and I still don’t know if that’s true XD]
Yea we were fine like the nest fell on out tint and stuff and we just kinda waited for enough of the hornets to leave and we kicked the nest in the fire because it was already down from the tree and they can't rebuild once it falls and stuff but yea all it did was postpone breakfast for like an hour because we couldn't leave the tent until they were gone and i'm glad Jonah likes me because wow Jonah is my favorite i've come across as Emma so far.
[I knew it was you when you liked my post XP Anyway, that’s good then, lol. Also thank you very much! It means a lot to me that you - and other people - like Jonah vuv]
ok so, every summer Devon always comes over to my house and he spends close to a month here with me and my grandparents. Every year, we have a small fire and camp out in the woods that are around the house and it's always really fun because we tell ghost stories. instead of him telling ghost stores like we always do, last year he spent the entire night texting his girlfriend, and he completely ignored me all night. We both got the downfall for that because we were attacked by a hornet's nest.
[Oh my god! Were you alright? Also Jonah completely adores you two now because of these stories and because you told ghost stories to each other lol]
ok, so every year on new years since we were 4, me and my cousin- his name is Devon- would eat cereal right at midnight. and we would only eat honey combs. and so every year, we have to eat honey combs cereal or else we get bad luck. We make a wish right at midnight, and then we take the biggest bite we can at the chime of midnight. Last year, he was at his girlfriends house and he didn't do it; he had a real bad allergic attack 2 days after new years.
[Omg don’t you just love psychosomatics? You two were/are too cute though! :D]
“And that’s what you get for disobeying!”
So you brought up your love for the rain and it reminded me of something from my childhood. Every time it rained me and my cousin would sneak out and play in it, no matter what time of day it was, one time I woke him up at midnight to play in it because we thought it was good luck. We never got sick form it, but one day we skipped a rain because he was too tired and we both got the flu for 2 weeks. We havn't skipped a rain since, and he's 17 and i'm 16.
[That is adorable omg ;u; thank you, whoever you are! It actually made me smile.]
“Well of course! Don’t you know? Standing in the rain is good for preventing the flu. Heheh."
