what fantasy creatures do you think the rest of the party would be (I sent an ask to @ferretnomsthings with what I had so far :3) /semi silly

Oooooo a fun question!! Let me think...

Jacques: A harpy. I really wanted to give him wings for some reason (idk vibes I guess) and harpy seemed to fit well! Again I can't really explain why but it just makes sense in my head.

Bloom: Dryad! Yeah it's kinda easy to give the ranger who climbs trees and is surrounded by leaves all the time the forest dwelling tree creature, but hey it fits!

Bensai: Centaur was my first thought. Most versions (least that I've seen) have Centaur as these wise, smart, skeptical creatures that usually see the bad in everyone and offer indirect but inspirational advice. And I love the idea of Bensai being a Centaur who does indeed give great advice, but he's also a little too trusting and a lot more outgoing that the 'average' Centaur.

Megan: A Griffin seems fitting, she's got birdish vibes kinda like Jacques but in a little bit of a different way? This whole thing vibes okay?

David: Okay the funny answer would be to say Goblin, which is a good fit and all, but I kinda wanna say lizardfolk. Again, mainly just vibes, no particular reason.

Clark: I'm sure I had a different idea for Clark when I started typing this out, but that's long gone and now I cannot get the image of him just being a heavily armored skeleton out of my brain lmao. Or just some sort of undead/revived creature.

Beware of picking flowers in a garden at midday, or you might meet some fairies. Especially if it's hot outside.

They are not cute little things as you may think. Actually, "fairy" is a general name for a lot of different types of creatures.

Sigvald

A young male who was banished from his flock for coming of age. After some wandering, he quickly found another flock under an old alpha. Do to the alpha’s age, and his particularly long fangs he managed to win the battle and the flock. However, that was the end of his luck, as he was quickly overthrown by the females with a heat wave causing a food scarcity and being a inexperienced leader. He wasn’t able to complete his alpha transformation leaving him with some alpha traits but not as a full alpha. A lone male, too discovered by past failures to try again. He wanders colder climates on the edge of territories only surviving cold winters with his excess feathers and larger body.
