Queenie: Where were you? I sat there for an hour, Jonah!

Jonah: I’m sorry, babe. I forgot!

Queenie: You forgot?

Jonah: Yes! I had so much on my mind with the gig...and I forgot.

Queenie: *sigh*

Jonah: Hey Babe...

Jonah: And who is this guy anyway, Queenie? You just show up with some random man I’ve never seen before. How is that supposed to make me feel?

Queenie: He’s a friend from out of town.

Jonah: A friend, huh?

Queenie: Yes, a friend. He happened to be in town, saw that I was upset and I invited him to the club! I wanted him to see how good you guys are!

Jonah: Hmmm...okay.

Harvey: Listen, I better get going...I’m heading off tomorrow and need to get ready.

Jonah: Well, if you’re a friend of Queenie’s...maybe we should hang before you go. Meet us at the park on the other side of the stadium. Tomorrow at 12.

Harvey: Okay. I’ll see you.

Queenie: Bye, Harvey.

Harvey: Goodnight, both of you.

Harvey: So, does music take up most of your time?

Jonah: Most of it, yes.

Harvey: A real passion.

Jonah: That’s a fair way to put it. If you’re really passionate about something, nothing can get between you and that something. 

Harvey: Yes, I’ve always felt that way about my fiancee. I don’t think I could ever let something get in the way of plans with her. 

Jonah: *chokes*

Jonah: Uhhhh...it’s not what it looks like!

Queenie: Sure it’s not! I can’t believe you. You promised, you promised me this wouldn’t happen again. 

Jonah: Baby...

Queenie: Don’t you dare ‘Baby’ me. We’re through, Jonah. I’m done.

Harvey: Okay, talk. 

Jonah: Listen…Queenie is a great girl, but-

Harvey: Ah, you lost me. Yes, she’s a great girl. That’s it. 

Jonah: I’m only twenty-one, man…I don’t want to be tied down just yet…

Harvey: Why be in so deep then? Queenie loves you, and I bet, deep down…you love her too. 

Jonah: …why do you care so much?

Harvey: I want her to be happy…and I think…maybe with you, she will be.

Jonah: You think so?

Harvey: I do. Look…are you seeing her tomorrow? 

Jonah: Ah, shoot! Yes. I completely forgot…I’m meant to be meeting her in the park.

Harvey: Write that down. Do not forget.

Jonah: What?

Harvey: Listen…if I know Queenie and the girls in her family…and I think I do…you do not want to forget plans with her. Don’t be late. Okay? Trust me. 

Jonah: …okay…

Harvey: So…you’ll try?

Jonah: You obviously care about her a lot. Maybe I have been making a mistake…I’ll be there. I promise.

Harvey: Oh, and you’re meant to be at rehearsal right now.

Jonah: Damn!
