the jonangi or kolleti jagilla is a hairless or sparsely haired breed from andhra pradesh used to herd and guard livestock (primarily ducks) and are also adept at fishing and catching vermin. like many indian breeds, they are very versatile. they are quiet and stealthy, rarely barking, and can be rather ‘one person.’ most are solid colored, preferably with prick ears. accounts on size vary, but most appear to be around 18-24 inches at the wither.
