Lol, remember on that show Jonas (L.A.) Nick’s character Nick because didn’t want he or Joe to actually act despite Nick having been on Broadway said that the reason why he and Macy had to be a secret couple was because “they don’t wanna end up like Joe and Stella” where everybody’s talking about their relationship before it even happens...even though Nick and Macy were already in a relationship at that point so wtf??? I guess because they couldn’t think of any other reason for Nick the character to so desperately want to keep his relationship with a female friend a secret. And since this is pre-Andi Mack, and said character was portrayed by a Jonas brother, they couldn’t have taken another route. 🥴
