For this challenge, I have to pick 9 sims that are 100% percent created by me, not born in game. Here’s a little twist, I can’t place the townie sims from previous Sims games and spin-offs that are ‘remastered’ into Sims 4′s style (cries at my remakes of some of the Sims 2 townies and Lincoln), they have to be like original (okay, Mary Watson is kinda a grey area considering she’s my MC for the Urbz handheld but whatever). So here they are, my most recent creations.
I’m gonna tag... *drum rolls* you if you want to! I’m a shy bat and I don’t know who to tag so, if you do this while you saw mine, don’t be afraid to say that I tagged you.
Since the trend list is getting long, I’m gonna put it under cut. If you are interested on looking on trends and patterns, you can read it below.
The Trends In This #FaceYourSims Challenge (If I said anything bad or offensive, please let me know. I will correct it. I’m not best with my words so it’s best to tell me instead.)
Majority of my sims are feminine framed sims. I mean, I just have a lot more fun making feminine sims than masculine sims. It’s just hard to make guys...
I never expect this to be much more colorful in terms of clothing...
Glasses are my thing... I mean, I wear them IRL.
Chokers. I guess it’s because I can’t wear them due to my spinal brace which reaches my neck. The Sims is so good for dreams that would probably never come true.
I always use glitchsyndrome‘s Chisami conversion from blush to skin detail no matter what. It’s just like a need for my sims to look right for me...
The lips. They do have a similar shape and it ranges from medium to thick lips. Also a tiny smile on them. I don’t know how it ended up that way though. I thought it was a bit more diverse in terms of shape but maybe recently, it’s not. maybe this comes from my internal jealousy maybe.
The face proportions are more suited to a oval face shape, quite even. Renaissance vibes?
People typically went for button noses but I went for a more opposite direction with my recent creations. I feel like large noses can be underappreciated at times. Also, they tended to be longer on the side profile.
Chins are bit more rounded. It’s rare for me to make a chiseled chin (I’m looking at Mary Watson) or pointed chin (And also you 651) on a sim.
Eyebags! Eyebags everywhere. I think I just imagined all of them not being early birds lol.
More racial diversity. Back then I made more white sims (because majority of them are OCs who are white), now I think I’m starting to learn how to make a more accurate sims of color. Using references is great!
Angry eyebrows! I think they tend to be average in terms of thickness...
The eye shape is generally more upturned or almond in shape. The eyelid space for the hooded lids is small af. Seriously, I don’t think they would do make up.
The cheekbones are more visible.
The cheeks are starting to get chubbier the more recent you go.
Jonas Port Walker is twenty years old and a Barista in Greensville.
Jonas had never been quite sure where his home was. He was born in North Carolina to a teen couple who gave him up right at birth. He spent a good deal of time in the foster system, moving along the east coast until he was finally adopted by a woman named Tammy Walker. It was also at this time that Jonas had met his younger adopted brother Peyton. Both boys took on the last name of their new mother and would follower her along throughout their adolescence.
At the age of sixteen, Jonas moved to a small town right outside of Chicago where he finally started to feel like be belonged somewhere. Though this didn’t happen right away. Until his senior year he struggled with various things: depression, anger issues, drugs, alcohol, the lot. And while he never quite squashed any of those problems, he did find himself growing into almost a proper adult. Almost.
He wanted to move out, and he felt like the time was right. His baby brother was close to graduating and he had saved up a couple thousand dollars to be able to afford a cheap little place. Jonas wanted to find himself and he somehow found his way to Greensville. He liked the idea of a little town, much like the one he went to high school in. He got similar vibes from the place and figured it would be a good start to adulthood for him.
Currently Jonas lives above a little coffee shop near the center of town. It’s a bit of a lonely existence, but he felt the need to live this way for the benefit of his mental health and motivation to grow up. He still struggles from time to time with depression and his anger issues. He’s not always the most pleasant when it comes to first impressions, but if someone is able to earn his trust, he is a loyal and kind soul.
