Heterochromia Idiotica (chibi dump 15)
Whoops, I drew this literally 2 months ago and never posted it 😅
Basically a little bit of very niche fun with the two heterochromes of the greater Bond franchise so far: Richard Stamper (the bleached blonde himbo of Tomorrow Never Dies fame) and Jonathan "GoldenEye" Hunter (GoldenEye Rogue Agent's main ADHDer swagger man).
Since the CMGN is canon in the Rogue Agent verse, that means they could potentially meet each other... As you can see, my headcanon is that they really wouldn't get along, despite their many similarities 🤭
Oh, and the colour style in this is directly inspired by @dye-it-rouge-et-noir/@carvermediagroupnetwork's CMGN Off Air series :D
Just because fear is all you see, doesn't mean that is all there is.

“This is an outrageous and disrespectful lie even by Trump standards. Also: Obama never attacked a Gold Star family.”

Book Review #10: Tournament of the Lost by Jonathan Hunter
Warning: Contains spoilers!
“In a macabre ring world forgotten by time, a tournament is to be held, a tournament thought to never plague the divided kingdoms of Aeden again. A band of unlikely friends will test the perils of hell and taste heaven's forbidden fruits. But who stands behind this tournament and more importantly why now? Ten thousand will fight for riches beyond your dreams, six kingdoms will be the devils playground, one will survive but none will be left standing in the Tournament of the Lost.” (Source: Amazon)
What I liked about the book: The book had a very compelling prologue, it unveiled an intense scene, which I think is fully capable of capturing readers’ interest and attention. Personally, I feel like the very first few pages left a good impact on me, it was able to sustain my curiosity throughout. In addition, I also really admired how the whole concept of the world within which the story revolved around was figured out. Every single detail, from the characters to their stories to the places in Aeden, was very well though out that, right off the bat, I could tell that the story had zero plot holes. The book was complete with creative diagrams and information regarding literally every kingdom and character towards the end, which I found both amazing and helpful. I also loved that, being a series, not all of the questions have been answered and that, more importantly, it ended with a huge cliff hanger, something that would truly engage readers to look forward to the upcoming books.
What I disliked about the book: Firstly, I personally wish the story flowed a little slower and focused more on strengthening the events. I found that, since the story went on fast, the occurrences tend to get repetitive, for example when Oliver and the group repeatedly runs into and battles with their enemies, as well as the fights between Eclaire/Faldio and Leon/Laelia. I would have appreciated more intense events similar to (SPOILER ALERT) Paul Vane’s death, something that would leave an impression, or even a shock, to keep the story powerful. In addition, it took me a while to get used to the writing style of this one, for a while I found it hard to keep up with the switching of perspectives as well as the input of information that I wasn’t really able to absorb everything right away. However, as I read through and followed the story, it became evident that there was great improvement and book overall proved that the story was good and certainly entertaining.
I recommend Tournament of the Lost to readers who love fantasy, magic, and most of all, adventure! I hope you enjoy reading through the characters’ journey as much as I did.
(I honestly felt a little empty upon finishing this book. I have been reading it for a couple of weeks and I’ve grown quite fond of the characters as well. I am very much looking forward to reading the next book! Here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RYBFY1L please check it out!)
