This took a few days to make but I've been wanting to draw this for a while now, it just felt like a DIO thing to do, here's what I mean:

The story here takes place sometime shortly before "Stardust Crusaders", Joseph was in his office in New York City trying to track down DIO since his reawakening a few years prior.

He tried everything from Spirit photography to using the TV to find his hideout, only to find a dark image of DIO with a black background every time.

One day he manages to make contact with DIO again through the TV, this time DIO was doing the same thing, the reason?

To show off his "little list" full of people and things he detests and wants gone, with him smugly showing him that the whole Joestar bloodline are on the very top of the list because he hates them THAT much, much to Joseph's anger and disgust, forcing him to end communication right then and there.

For those who don't know, this image is inspired by "As someday it may happen", aka, "I've got a little list", a song from an 1885 comedic opera "The Mikado" about Victorian Britian's politics in the style of a fictionalized Japan by Gilbert and Sullivan(I caution you looking it up, it's kind of outdated).

The song's mostly about the singer's personal pet peeves and making a hit list for them, wishing that none of them be missed.

There's been multiple rewrites throughout history to fit with the standards of the era and the singer's personal dislikes, such as Family Guy's take which I first heard and drew inspiration from: Link (Warning: Animated violence).

I wanted to put some IRL examples on the list that I'd think would fit DIO, but decided against it because I didn't want to start a fight in the comment section, so I just threw in some JJBA Easter eggs instead.

You guys thought I was gonna make another drawing about my new OC, BUT IT WAS HIM, DIO!

All jokes aside, I'm sorry for taking so long, I was trying to come up with a drawing featuring said OC and everyone's favorite anime vampire(nothing inappropriate of course, just DIO being an ass as usual). 

But I kept messing it up because I suck at drawing muscular men so I do apologize if Jonathan's body doesn't look like a giant beefcake, that and I have a shitty sleep schedule and easily distracted.

Anyways, I decided to just draw DIO by himself just to get the hang of him at my Art Program today and I just love how he turned out. 

I liked to imagine this what he would wear in canon and when he meets my new OC Medea King.This isn't a character redesign of his canon look BTW, the series is already doing that for me, this is just my take on the trend. 

Although I should've added more jewelry to him because his right arm is so bare, which is why I zhoosh it up with Jonathan's Stand/The Passion on it to compensate. 

And of course, I had to add in the green lipstick he usually wears because he looks great in it.

Funnily enough, when I finished the drawing at Art Program, one of my group leaders said "she's a pretty lady"(referring to DIO's make up and jewelry) before I corrected her by saying he's a "flamboyant man from the 1980's", I don't really her though lol.DIO/Dio Brando belongs to Hirohiko Araki
