Looking to the other he thinks about it. There wasent really much that could be done for him. The mortals already had their minds made up about him. He was either a monster or their savior. He kept the balance of nature when they couldn't fight the Kaiju. He was after all the king of the monsters. " I destroyed Japan. Most of the city is destroyed from my fight with one of my own kind."
Human form was still strange to him. He had not only this gorm but a female one too. It had taken him some time to learn human language, how they interacted with one another and of course got used to clothing. He absolutely detested it, but he wore it to blend in.
" There's not much you can do. The humans either think I'm a monster or I'm keeping them safe from worse threats than me."
Tom nodded, listening. He’d heard about the going ons in Japan. It had peeked his interest mildly, as of course it would, when anything involved rather large reptilian creatures coming out of hiding and taking over the fucked up human civilization. This would be the first time meeting him, though, and found it interesting that he was also now wearing a human disguise, especially after making such a blatant statement to the world about his existence.
Tom exhaled his cigarette, letting the smoke waver up about him into the air. “Then why are you here?” he asked, all business on his mind. Another breath, and more smoke blew from his nose, before he sat up a little.
“I have no problems with you making a scene over there, as long as it doesn’t effect me, ...” In fact, that could be used as a great diversion sometime if needed. “... or whether the humans are safe or not. Why would you care about them, anyway? You just said they think you’re a monster.”
